An old view
Delaying
This is the view from our living room window when we lived in Rossland. In the bottom of the shot is the Rossland Golf Course and the Big Sheep Valley in the distance.
It was an entertaining existence there; skiing, snowshoeing, and frequently shovelling and blowing the deep snow that fell throughout the winters. Friendly pubs and a world class ski hill that offered only limited beginner terrain but a great deal of terrain for more advanced skiers and almost unlimited terrain for back country. The Main Street of the town is at 1,023 meters (or 3356.xx ft.) so it is a winter focused town with a few surprisingly good restaurants when we lived there.
No reason for posting this really…. I was just musing about the current conditions here in Vancouver and thinking back to where we had been previously. Damn me for nostalgia, if you will. I suppose my liver is probably better for moving.
